GameTyrant wrote about Ary and the Secret of Seasons a couple of months ago, but now Modus Games has released nine minutes of gameplay from the beta preview.
In the upcoming adventure, players will take control of the seasons and manipulate the environment to navigate the world, solve intricate puzzles, and overcome the enemies that seek to stop Ary. The magical world of Valdi is open to exploration.
The gameplay footage does a good job of building slowly. It shows players how imbuing the land and structures around Ary with seasonal magic can create new pathways and influence the nature of combat. By the end of the video, Ary is able to control multiple seasons and her gear lets her traverse and fight with greater power than earlier on in the gameplay preview.
