Comic Preview - Assassin's Creed #1

I can't express how happy I am that Ubisoft has decided to put more focus on female Assassin's as of late. In addition to Evie Frye getting a prominent place in the upcoming Assassin's Creed Syndicate, there is yet another female joining the ranks of the ancient order. Here name is Charlotte de la Cruz, and while she doesn't realize it, she has a great deal of history in her bloodline. The new comic, written by Anthony Del Col and Conor McCreery and drawn by Neil Edwards, will deal with her coping with her new-found lineage, whilst also attempting to sort out what her Assassin ancestor, Tom Stoddard, witnessed during his days in the order.

Titan Comics is thrilled to release the brand-new trailer for Assassin's Creed #1 written by Anthony Del Col & Conor McCreery with art by Neil Edwards. Charlotte de la Cruz is overeducated and underemployed, wasting her time in San Diego, spending her free time chasing down conspiracy theories.

While the games have delved into a great deal of history, the Salem Witch trials have not been covered as of yet, so I'm excited to see what they do with the time period, and I can't say enough about having another female assassin in the fold. Hopefully Charlotte will not be the last.

Assassin's Creed #1 from Titan Comics is out now. You can catch a preview of the first issue below, and a trailer of the new book above.
