Astralis' Karrigan Denied Visa, Will Not Compete In E-LEAGUE

Well, this is a shock. HLTV is reporting Astralis CS:GO player and co-owner Karrigan has been denied a Visa for entry into the United States. This means he will not be able to compete with the team in their tournament this week to be in the week 3 finals this coming Friday.

Karrigan writes that a new rule in place does not allow Visa's to people who have visited Iran in the past 5 years, which Karrigan did as PR for team Fnatic. It will be a big loss to Astralis as Karrigan is considered a major asset and in-game leader to the team. Luckily, E-League allows the addition of 2 alternates to attend in circumstances like these so they will not be a man short come game time.

If Astralis does make it to the finals they will join Luminosity and NiP who have won the prior weeks. You can watch E-League prelims throughout the week on Twitch, and then watch the week's finals on TBS starting at 10 pm EST that Friday.
