Black Desert Online is a really stunningly rendered MMO coming out of the South Korean studio, Daum Games. I played the previous beta briefly and really quite enjoyed exploring the game's lush and interesting world. The real kicker about this game, however, and what has put it on the map for many gamers is its insane character creator. Most MMOs you pick from a handful of preset facial features and hairstyles, but Black Desert pushes things to some pretty crazy limits. You have complete control over a huge array of sliders to really build the fantasy character of your dreams. (And trust me, they'll be pretty dreamy, as the engine seems to mostly focus on cranking out super models.) You can download the standalone character creator totally free right now!
