After being delayed last month, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch has finally gotten a new release date. Starting June 23, players on both systems can purchase the game digitally for $14.99.
While the first impressions I have had for this release have been a bit scathing, I am hoping that this delay has allowed the team at Aspyr to make it better than it was originally presented. Episode 1 Racer continues to be one of my all-time favorite racing titles and a shoddy port doesn’t give the game proper justice. I hope that on June 23 I will be pleasantly surprised by what we are given.
