Finally, PC players will now have the chance to get their hands on the preview of Final Fantasy XV as Square Enix fulfilled their promise to release a demo for the upcoming Windows Edition of the game. The demo is now available and ready for download.
The preview will be available for the PC through multiple channels as players can access it through Steam, Origin, and the Microsoft Store. Square Enix did not reveal as to how much content will be available in the demo aside from several tutorials, and the opening main quests. However, rest assured that the preview will give players a feel of the game’s combat and most importantly, this is the chance to test if your PC will be able to run the game smoothly.
Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will be released on March 6 and will contain the base game and all DLC expansions available. In addition, the Windows edition of the game will include an expanded map centered around the ruins of Insomia City, where players can go on several new side quests and encounter new enemies in the form of Cerberus and Omega.
Furthermore, a new accessory is included that lets players activate “Armiger Unleashed”, which is a new ability that lets players launch powerful attacks. Lastly, players who purchase the game on May 1, will receive a Half Life/Final Fantasy XV crossover content that allows players to dress as Gordon Freeman with the iconic crowbar in hand.
