FINAL FANTASY Creator Hoping To Announce New Game In 2017

Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is hoping to announce a new game in 2017. Gamespot reports that Sakaguchi, who left Square Enix in early 2000's,  has no details on the game but that we should hear some details in 2017.

Not a lot to go on, I know, but considering his resume it's enough to get people excited. Sakaguchi was responsible for Final Fantasy I-V and served as a producer for Square Enix FF games and Kingdom Hearts throughout the years.

While I debated whether or not this was relevant to mention...it's also worth noting that Sakaguchi was responsible for the box office bomb Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I feel like it's worth mentioning as failing to mention it would lead you to believe everything this guy touches is gold! That said, as long as his new video game isn't a film we should be fine right?

Let's hope it's an RPG!
