Keeping the constant stream of cooperative games that allow online and local players to play together is another somewhat silly goal-based game. Much like the enjoyable titles Overcooked! and upcoming Moving Out, we are getting another chance to take a regular task and complete in a quirky, fun way while getting frustrated with our unskilled friends. This time we get to renovate homes and turn them into party locations, for both during the work and once completed, in the upcoming indie game Tools Up! by The Knights of Unity.
Using cartoon-like graphics, teams of up to four players can go into various locations to fix up homes while fighting the elements. From regular homes to those around lava, you never know what to expect when you take on a project. All you know is who you can trust, or at least tolerate during the job. There is sure to be plenty of struggles to face with a mixture of laughs and tasks.
Tools Up! is set to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime in Q4 2019, so we don’t have much longer to wait until we can head-on into our first project. Check out the trailer and see if this game is one to add to your must-haves come to the end of the year.
