Gen Con 2017: RICK AND MORTY ANATOMY PARK Brings Laughs And Easter Eggs For Fans

Last week, we shared the news that Cryptozoic had released yet another Rick and Morty game based on the episode "Anatomy Park." The trailer for the game looked entertaining enough, and while it's no world beater or game changer in the genre of tile games, there are some reasons for fans to get in on the action.

First off, everything in this game was reviewed and signed off on by Justin Roiland. All the drawings, characters, abilities, you name it. The game also contains quite a few pieces of art that highlight some of the parts of the park that were only briefly seen in the episode, as well as some things that were not seen at all. For a fan of the series, that alone should make this game a collectors item.

As far as gameplay, It's fun enough, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't played better, but it's good for what it is. Personally, I felt the combat element was a bit forced, and I was super excited to jump into this game to kill viruses ready to attack and ended up coming in dead last and I never even killed the damn thing!

Final verdict...it's definitely for fans and not at all a terrible purchase, but if you're jumping into this game in search of a great tile game and not all that concerned with whether or not it's Rick and Morty, you may do better elsewhere.
