GRAND THEFT AUTO V Development Team "Very Excited" About Nintendo Switch

Take-Two Interactive is "very excited" about the Nintendo Switch. The company already has one of their titles they've worked on, NBA 2K18, appearing on the console and Gamespot leads us to believe more could be coming. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said the following in an earnings call about the console...

"We're excited about Switch. We're supporting Switch with NBA 2K18. We've said we're supporting the platform. I've said over and over again that when Nintendo comes to market you never want to count them out...So, we're excited about it. The only thing we've announced so far is the basketball title,"

Of course Take-Two interactive played a heavy role in the release of Grand Theft Auto V, which leaves a lot of people speculating as to whether we will see the game appearing on the console. For the record, it would be the first time a Grand Theft Auto has appeared on a Nintendo platform since the DS game Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.  Will lightning strike twice?

It's certainly possible if either company wants to make it happen. The Nintendo Switch is more powerful than the last gen platforms which ran Grand Theft Auto V, and some GTA titles have appeared on the PS Vita as well. I think if the console sells well enough and the gaming demographic is there, Rockstar will definitely release the game again. Hell, the game is still hot after two releases and nearly four years later. What do you think the odds are we see this game on the Switch?
