HALO INFINITE Teases Infection Mode With New Cinematic Trailer

Finally! 343 Industries is giving in to the Halo community by finally offering a multiplayer mode that has been a staple of the series for years. Infection mode is making its way to Halo Infinite in its upcoming Season 4 content update! We see this in the recently released cinematic for Season 3 Echoes Within. Check out the cinematic for yourself and get ready for some intense multiplayer sessions.

In the cinematic trailer, we can see our fellow Spartans falling upon an old Oni facility that is housing a dark evil presence. A demon-esque AI begins to take control of an empty armor core and laughs hysterically. This is all set-up to prepare us for the inevitable release of infection as a featured mode coming in Season 4 of Halo Infinite.

343 has also revealed on a recent live stream that the infection mode is caused by this evil AI that hacks into the “infected” Spartan armor, taking full control of the suit. The artwork for the infection mode showcases the evil threat in all of its glory and it is looking great. The hype for this mode is beyond measurable for the Halo community and we can’t wait to get our hands on it when Season 4 launches on June 20th.

Halo Infinite multiplayer is free to play and available on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
