Publisher and developer, Assemble Entertainment and Robot Pumpkin Games have announced their choose-your-own-adventure game based in the Lovecraft universe, The Innsmouth Case. The game takes players to a remote fishing village called Innsmouth, where they must investigate the disappearance of Tabitha Marsh.

Featuring a mixture of comedy and horror, The Innsmouth Case is very unique when compared to other games in the text-adventure genre. Other features of the game include:

Decisions that have a permanent effect on the story.
“Interactive book” styled gameplay.
27 possible endings.
20+ animated characters to interact with.

The Innsmouth Case is slated for a Spring 2020 release, and will be available to play on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
