It's Not Your Imagination, CRASH BANDICOOT N SANE TRILOGY Is Harder Than The Original

For those of you wondering if Crash Bandicoot was always as hard as it was in Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, the answer is...sort of. The franchise has always been known for its difficulty, but a change to Crash's hitbox has exacerbated the issue and made it much easier for Crash to fall off ledges. This video explains the issue in a rather quick fashion:

The main differences between the two versions of the game is that Crash lands a little faster than he did in previous games, and his hitbox has changed from flat shaped to pill shaped. The latter issue makes it possible for Crash to slide off the edges of ledges in a way that wasn't possible in the past games.

Has anyone who purchased the game noticed these problems? I played the original game recently and I like to think it's just a classic case of a new gaming generation slowly recognizing how hard older titles can be. When campaign mode is the only thing you got, you gotta keep people engaged and entertained somehow!
