Juggernauts and Holograms Feature In RAINBOW SIX SIEGE

Ubisoft has shared more details on the two new Operators in the upcoming Void Edge Operation, as well as a look at the reworking of the Oregon map and small updates to the player hub on Rainbow Six Siege. It’s a lot of changes, and it’s further proof of why Siege is one of the most exciting shooters for online multiplayer.

The new defender Oryx wields enormous speed and strength, which he can utilize to sprint around the map, crash through barricades or unreinforced walls, and even climb up through open hatches. That strength enables him to ram into opponents, stunning them. This includes shield operators like Montagne, which is a tactical counter that hasn’t been available until now. His weaponry and skills will make him an intimidating operator.

Iana, the new attacker, boasts an entirely different skillset, but she will equally frustrating to her enemies. The Dutch operator utilizes a holographic clone that moves, sounds, and acts the same as her. While electrified surfaces and Mute’s signal jammers will impede her movement, the hologram is otherwise a deceptive tool that will enable her to breach and study the enemy’s defenses with terrifying ease. The attacker will be completely immobile and vulnerable while using the holographic clone, though, so keep that in mind.

In addition to these two new operators, Ubisoft has also developed a map rework of Oregon, as well as gameplay updates like smashed barricades and attacker drone spawns.

What do you think of the new Defender and Attacker? Impressed with Ubisoft’s latest creations?
