The award-winning virtual reality studio, InnerspaceVR, is back with a new title that will have players going on a mystical adventure. Teaming up with publisher MWM Interactive, their next VR game called Maskmaker is set to release on April 20th for both PC VR and PSVR. The full platform list includes the Oculus Rift, Quest, SteamVR, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR.
After the leader of the mask realm, Prospero, invites you to become his apprentice, you find yourself working within his workshop. Here you will learn how to craft magical masks and discover a newfound ability that allows you to transport to different worlds and possess the various guardians within the mask realm. Explore each world to collect rare resources, solve puzzles, and develop your crafting skills to prove you’re worthy of being a Maskmaker. From mask-to-mask and puzzle-to-puzzle, you will make your way through the mask realm to seek Prospero and ultimately unravel the truth behind this identity.
This is definitely a unique concept and even after watching the trailer above, I have to say that it seems like a title that will be confusing until I experience it myself. What do you think of this strange yet intriguing game?
