Microsoft's Project Scorpio Will Natively Render Games In 4K

Wishing to drive the knife further into the PS4 Pro's lackluster reveal, Microsoft has confirmed it's Project Scorpio will render games natively in 4K. In an interview with USA Today, Shannon Loftis confirms that games made within the time frame of the console launch will render in 4K...

"Any games we're making that we're launching in the Scorpio time frame, we're making sure they can natively render at 4K."

This is compared to the PS4 Pro which is being discovered to "upscale" games which is still good, but not as pretty as native 4K. It was also revealed the Microsoft will be looking into VR for Project Scorpio. It's unclear at this time if they intend to integrate the device with the Hololens, or perhaps begin a partnership with one of the existing VR headset manufacturers.
