Today Ubisoft launched Might & Magic Heroes VII, the latest installment in the Heroes of Might & Magic series. The game brings back six factions which have appeared in previous installments of the series, (the Haven, Academy, Stronghold, Necropolis, Sylvan, and Fortress), each with their own unique set of heroes, creatures, spells, and associated styles of gameplay.
I grew up with the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise and played every version of the game obsessively until Might & Magic Heroes V. After watching the game's launch trailer however, the series has managed to get its hooks into me again. Now, I can't wait to whip my armies into shape and get back onto the battlefield.
