New ANTHEM Footage Showcases The Game's Single-Player Story

The latest trailer for the upcoming title, Anthem, by BioWare gives players a preview of the single-player campaign. The footage showed Fort Tarsis, which is the primary home base where players return after setting out on a mission.

Anthem is set to be a vast departure from BioWare’s Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises. In the upcoming game, players won’t have the traditional companions by their side as they will embark on missions alone. The latest preview gives a glimpse of the game’s NPCs that players will encounter and reveals how interacting with them will affect how they treat players in the long run.

At the heart of Anthem is the concept of Our World, My Story - the distinctive combination of a shared, dynamic world and a personal story. Discover how these two elements help create a connected world that remains unique to every player. Subscribe and be the first to see Anthem trailers and gameplay videos: http://bit.ly/2qZN5QV.

BioWare reveals that they are hoping to create a “living community” in Fort Tarsis where players can develop their relationships with other characters. However, it was previously announced that unlike Mass Effect and Dragon Age, Anthem will not feature any romance conquests as BioWare wanted to focus on friendships instead, which they felt is more natural in the game’s overall tone.

Anthem is set to release on February 22 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
