Nintendo Is Prepping For Huge Mass Shipping of the SWITCH in 2018

As recent history has been teaching us, the Nintendo Switch has been selling remarkably well. In fact, it has done so well that stores, and Nintendo, have been struggling to keep up. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it appears as though Nintendo are about to change that.

The Wall Street Journal believes that Nintendo has a plan in place to make between 25mil and 30mil units starting April 2018 when their fiscal year begins. The holiday season is almost upon us though, and there is a huge chance that, if the season goes well, then they may up the amount. During Nintendo's briefing on 31 October  2017, Nintendo’s Tatsumi Kimishima stated the following:

We have increased our Nintendo Switch shipment projections for this fiscal year from 10 million units to 14 million units. We will be shipping roughly 10 million units during the second half of the fiscal year, meaning we will manufacture more than 10 million units, requiring very large production numbers every month.

The SNES Classic Edition and the launch of popular games like Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo and Switch are looking forward to a lucrative holiday season already. They can count me in as a potential Switch buyer at the end of this month, as I don't believe I can hold out any longer. There is just too much happening in the Switch universe to miss out now.

Have you been convinced to get a Switch yet? If you have a Switch, has the console lived up to all the hype being paraded over the net? Let me know in the comments.
