Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition hits Switch at the end of September and I can’t wait to have the game in a portable version! Today, Moon Studios announced the price for the beloved platformers Switch outing as $19.99. When Ori and the Blind Forest makes its way to Switch it will include all previously released DLC and even a few Switch exclusive things like new areas, secrets and abilities.
For a Switch port of a couple year old game this sounds so nice and reasonable. Switch owners are accustomed to the “Switch Tax” where full retail prices are usually commanded for ports of an older game. Capcom and their Resident Evil ports instantly come to mind. Oh, let’s also not forget the ridiculous Devil May Cry HD nonsense where you pay the same price as other platforms for a third of the content.
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be available on September 27! Are you planning to pick it up?
