Project xCloud has hit a new milestone in its development and eventual launch with new home test being conducted by the team! For those of you unaware of what Project xCloud is, it is basically Microsoft’s answer to the upcoming Google Stadia and PlayStation Now services. Players will be able to take their Xbox gaming on the go though the use of smart phones and tablets and some rumors have even suggested the Nintendo Switch! A few demos of Project xCloud have been showcased in the last few weeks and the service does appear to be running great! Phil Spencer even took to Twitter to celebrate the success of the take home tests.
Now that more take home tests have been conducted the next step on the path to release will be public betas which are scheduled to happen later this year.
