PSO2 Leaves Open Beta For Full Xbox One Release, North American PC Release Revealed!

After a month of being in open beta, Phantasy Star Online 2 is now officially released for Xbox One in North America! To Celebrate the launch Sega is hosting a launch week bonus event where players who log in will get extra log-in bonus rewards. Players who join an alliance with at least 4 members will also net themselves an SG20 Ticket to use on in-game purchases. A new series of urgent quests will also be available to play and you can check out the full schedule breakdown here! A new spring event is also happening so you may notice some new decor around the ARKS lobby.

For North American PC players who have been waiting to jump into the action of PSO2, Sega has also revealed the release date for that version of the game will be in late May. The PC version will be exclusive to the Xbox Store when it releases and will have full crossplay support with the Xbox One version. From my understanding, even if you started on Xbox your character can be played on PC just by logging in. I know many of you will be bummed by the Windows Store exclusivity but that will just be a timed thing as the game will eventually make its way to other digital distribution platforms down the line.

PSO2 has been a lot of fun to sink time into over this last month and I can’t wait to see what else they continue to add to the game moving forward. See you in the stars ARKS!
