The main focus of the story of Mafia 3 is revenge. Lincoln Clay takes vengeance on the main crime syndicate of New Bordeaux after he is left for dead after a double crossing. What we've seen so far is Clay getting rescued from a fire and nursed back to health after a gunshot wound grazed his head. Now, in this latest trailer, we see the events that led up to the betrayal.
