Telltale Games Temporarily Stops The Sale Of THE WALKING DEAD: THE FINAL SEASON

Telltale has pulled the last season of The Walking Dead from digital stores after the release of the game’s second episode yesterday. Initially, two more episodes are planned to release, which will conclude the story of the game’s protagonist, Clementine. Unfortunately, given the studio’s sudden closure, the fate of its games are currently unknown.

The store page on, Telltale has requested for a “temporary pause” on the sale of the The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

“Telltale has requested a temporary pause of The Walking Dead - Final Season. For all up to date Telltale news, please refer to their official Twitter page.”

Other digital stores such as the PlayStation Store and Steam have already pulled the game, which now displays an unavailable page. This news is a step backward from the hopes of The Walking Dead fans to see the game’s completion despite the major closure of the studio.

A few days ago, Telltale revealed that several other “partners” have offered to help the studio bring the last season of The Walking Dead to completion. However, Telltale explained that it is still considering other options and would release an update soon regarding the game’s future.
