Players who follow the card battling game Teppen will be happy to know that the ongoing story “The War of the Goddess” continues on with Episode 2 - Breath of Resistance which launched just yesterday! In this new addition, players will bear witness to the beginning of the rebellion against Goddess Myria’s salvation.
Other exciting new things being implemented into the game are even more beloved characters from IPs such as Breath of Fire, Street Fighter, Mega Man, and more. There are even characters from Red Earth who have also made the big entrance.
Resident Evil 2’s Ada Wong made her way into the game as she does what she does best in order to try and stop Goddess Myria’s twisted plans. Along the way, we’ll also see characters such as Street Fighter’s Karin Kanzuki, Breath of Fire’s Deis, Red Earth’s Tessa, Monster Hunter Riders’ Shakuna, and Mega Man X’s Death Rogumer.
New abilities have been added to the game, such as the Coordination ability which helps to protect your allies in battle. Then there are the new cards like the Green card ‘Resistance Leader Karin,’ the Purple card ‘Ancient Sorceress Deis,’ the Black card ‘Jhen Mohran.’ and Red card ‘Proud Soldier Colonel’ as well to build your deck with.
Capping off the launch of Breath of Resistance is the 2.5-anniversary event that went live alongside it, and gives players 10 free Jewels, more BGMs, and a special Season Pass sale. The current Season Passes can also be picked up for only 10 Jewels until March 1st.
