THE DARK PICTURES Anthology Continues With HOUSE OF ASHES

We’ve demystified the cabin in the woods.

We’ve explored the depths of the South Pacific Ocean.

We’ve dared the ghost town of Little Hope.

Now, we will get the chance to wade through the subterranean House of Ashes in the upcoming project from Supermassive Games. The developer has teased their next entry in The Dark Pictures anthology, and it looks absolutely terrifying. Remote cabins in the woods? Definitely unsettling. Submerged ship wrecks? That will leave you breathless. Ghost towns with a haunted past? Yeah, I’ll stop somewhere else.

But a dark, ridiculously creepy cave filled with the dead… and the not-so-dead? I’ll pass and never look back.

And, yet, I won’t be able to stay away from this game. I really, really liked my time with Until Dawn. It was my favorite horror game I’ve played since Dead Space and it’s a real gem on the PlayStation 4. I haven’t played Man of Medan or Little Hope because I’m waiting for a deal to come out with the anthology. Maybe when House of Ashes releases in 2021?

Anyways, this is our first taste of the game and I’m sold. Supermassive Games has done a great job and I’m looking forward to playing more of their titles. What about you, though? Are you interested in House of Ashes?
