THE DIVISION 2 Adds Situation: Snowball Event In December Update

Title Update 6.1 for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will be available on December 10th. Ubisoft wants to celebrate the holiday season with a themed in-game event, Situation: Snowball. Sounds festive, right?

Washington D.C. is packed with hardcore enemies, and some of the toughest ones are going to be mocking Agents all over the capital with bright red Santa hats. Taunting is about to reach a whole new level.

But Agents are nothing if not resourceful. That’s why players will be able to take down these enemies with a new, exclusive weapon. The ammo? Snowballs. That’s right. Defeat those elusive Santa impersonators with snowballs.

As a bonus, players who log into The Division 2 between December 10th and January 7th receive a Santa Hat to celebrate the holiday season.

Another element of Title Update 6.1 is the Silent Night apparel event. Ubisoft promises a dark winter theme with 35 new apparel items to collect.

Want more incentive to play over the holidays? All players who log into the game will also receive one free key to open a Silent Night Apparel Cache. If you’re a Year One Pass holder, you’ll earn three additional keys as a bonus.

Finally, a beta version of the new Hardcore Mode arrives as part of the update. Death is permanent, and with no chance to respawn, Division Agents will face the ultimate test.

The update for The Division 2 arrives on December 10th.
