Joining in on the popularized gameplay style of both Deathmatch and Battle Royale game modes are the worm’s you all already know and love! This time, Team17 has announced Worms Rumble as their next upcoming game and is planning to launch it on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on Steam sometime late 2020. It’s even part of PlayStations Indie Initiatives as they plan for the future.
No matter which platform you end up playing this game on, you will be able to partner up and face off against friends. It will feature a 32-player, cross-platform multiplayer experience that has all the action taking place in real-time. They will be bringing back the classic weapons featured in the well-known turn-based versions of their games. Plus, players can customize their worms however they want as they unlock more weapon skins, outfits, accessories, and emotes with their earned experience and in-game currency.
They have opened the sign-up webpage for those looking to get in on Worms Rumble early and provide feedback to help shape the game to be the best version it can be.
