Awhile back we wrote about an emulator that allowed people to play NES games in a 3D perspective. This isn't to say that it changes the game, however, but rather gives it that popped diorama look you see in 3DS games. I saw a couple rough cuts of games running in the emulator and wasn't too impressed. That changed today when I saw the trailer featuring Mega Man running in the emulator!
What's important here is that the 3D doesn't look forced and fits naturally within the game. That's just my opinion though.
