Zombieland has been a cult classic ever since it’s release, nearly ten years ago back in October of 2009. I am honestly surprised that it has taken this long for a game based on the popular film to come to fruition, but better late than never, right? Zombieland Double Tap: Road Trip is a twin-stick co-op shooter that bridges the gap between the original film, and it’s sequel. The game allows you to play as one of the classic four from the first film, as well as one of the new faces that we catch a glimpse of in the newest trailer. You can take a look at the screenshots we got alongside the announcement below.
Zombieland Double Tap: Road Trip is slated for an October 15th release date, just 3 days prior to the release of the movie. The game will be playable on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you pre-order the game from Gamestop you will receive an exclusive golden revolver. If you want to learn more about the game, you can visit the official website. What are your thoughts on a game based in the Zombieland universe? Will you be seeing the sequel on opening night? Let me know in the comments.
