4 Reasons to Play KNIGHTS CHRONICLE
In recent months I have been playing a lot of mobile games. From puzzles to arcade and RPGs to MOBAs, I have played a lot of games on my phone. One that has caught my eye and I have been particularly enjoying is Knights Chronicle. This game fall under the Role Playing category and I would personally classify it under a hero-collection adventure game. This game gives a lot of options in what modes to play, how to enhance characters and way to customize your team. Here are four reasons to play Knights Chronicle:
1. An Actual Story
The game has a pretty solid story mode. The story is pieced together with lots of little cutscenes and surprisingly high quality voice work. The game is not driven by story, but it is fun to have a little campaign to push through and grow your characters.
2. Totally Active or Inactive Combat
As a player starts getting past the tutorial, the options for auto battle and double speed become available. It is fun to shape your characters with various runes of enhancement, make team compositions that synergies well and choose every attack, but auto battle is also there. This means if a person just wants to farm an area a bunch of times, not only will the auto battle allow the player to walk away, but double speed will quicken the process. There is an additional option to continuously revisit the same dungeon mission until your daily energy runs. I have enjoyed focusing on the longer strategy and growth of the team more while my team just goes at countless enemies.
3. Style and Personality
The game looks really great for all the content that is available. The character models are cute, detailed and fairly creative. All dungeons, castles and lands look really nice, more detailed than any of these similar types of games. Just about everything done is the game has some extra flair, leveling up, completing a level and most other things just exude charm, fantasy and cuteness.
4. RWBY and More
Right now, there is a great crossover event with Rooster Teeth. RWBY has entered the game and the four main girls look great. With various costumes, flashy attacks and Cinder to rival them, Ruby, Wisse, Blair and Yang are crushing enemies and looking good doing it. The event only lasts a week or so more but it is very possible that other tie-ins with other game will be coming to Knights Chronicle in the future.
This is a great game to just open up and play for a few minutes whenever there is downtime. There is no major pay-to-win options, but a player can spend lots of money to jump ahead in levels and get past all the early grinding and unlock certain heroes. I would recommend this game for those who want a fun little pocket RPG with little to no commitment with heavily stylized anime characters and battling.
