Editorial: 5 Games We're Most Excited For In March
March has a handful of titles you should definitely be excited about. With the launch of the Nintendo Switch happening the first week and a couple other high profile games coming up, here's what we're most excited for.
5. Super Bomberman R: March 3rd
The Return Of Bomberman was a surprise to many, and perhaps the most low-key moment of the Nintendo Switch presentation when it was unveiled. That's a shame because Super Bomberman R sounds like the most polished title in the franchise we've seen in awhile! Online battles, local connection for up to 8 Switch owners, enhanced graphics and a full-fledged story with voice acting.
If you've played Bomberman, you know why we're excited, and hopefully, you're picking it up with your Nintendo Switch!
4. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands: March 7th
If you're someone who's excited for the release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, chances are you're already playing it. After a month or so in beta, the game recently went open beta, and team-based shooting fans are blasting through Bolivia just itching to get their hands on the full game. This game features the largest single player open world experience Ubisoft has ever created, so keep that in mind when you're playing it on Xbox One, PS4 or PC.
3. Nier:Automata: March 7th
The world was blown away by Nier: Automata's demo released a few months ago, and everything we've seen since then has been awesome as well. Fast paced sword fighting, robots, deep storylines, and exploding skirts? Sounds like a Square Enix title to me. The game will hit PS4 March 7th and no official day has been locked down for PC, but don't expect to wait too long.
2. Mass Effect: Andromeda: March 21st
Everything we've seen so far in the world of Mass Effect: Andromeda makes it seem as though the series is back with a bang! The combat looks so much more fluid than past games, and changing skills and load outs on the fly mean you'll spend more time in the battle and less time in your pause screen. Many Mass Effect fans have been skeptical of this title, but I don't see a need for it in what I've seen.
1. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: March 3rd
As if it's any surprise this is our number one. Hype has gone through the roof as review outlets are scoring this game higher than they scored past Zelda titles or even most games in the past couple years. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is going to be a departure from the classic Zelda gameplay, which seemed like a risky venture at first, but all early indications say it paid off big time for Nintendo.
Are you planning on picking any of these up?
