Anime Style MOBA Game ETERNAL RETURN Leaves Early Access This July
Kakao Games and Nimble Neurons’ anime-style PvP MOBA Eternal Return will be leaving Early Access on Steam this July with its official version 1.0 release. Set on the secluded Lumia Island, Eternal Return takes place within the shadowy organization known as AGLAIA, where secret experiments are being conducted on human subjects to create a new breed of extraordinary beings. Players will need to survive the island's challenges, scavenge for materials to craft armor and weapons, and emerge as the last standing warrior in this multiplayer online survival arena.
Eternal Return, which has been available in early access since October 2020, offers a multiplayer online arena where players engage in fierce combat. With a vast roster of characters and the freedom to employ various battle strategies, players will strive to emerge as the sole survivor. During the early access phase, the game received significant acclaim overseas and obtained the 'Popular Game Award' at the 2021 Korea Game Awards, with peak concurrent users currently reaching 50,000.
Eternal Return’s official release with version 1.0 serves as the perfect entry point for newcomers and a fresh adventure for returning players, featuring a journey of 70 major updates and 9 seasons of expanded content. The development team has completely rebuilt the entire experience from scratch, prioritizing streamlining and refining gameplay elements based on player feedback. Notably, the traversal mechanics, which were requested for improvement by early access players, have been simplified significantly. In Eternal Return 1.0, many processes have been streamlined for a smoother and more intuitive gaming experience.
The launch of Eternal Return 1.0 introduces an array of many features that serve to deepen player engagement. Players will have the opportunity to explore the captivating world of Lumia Island in unprecedented ways, immersing themselves in its rich lore and unique atmosphere.
Eternal Return is available for free on PC via Steam.
