Bethesda Revealed The C.A.M.P. Basebuilding Trailer For FALLOUT 76
The Construction and Assembly Mode Platform or C.A.M.P. is a vital tool used for rebuilding in Fallout 76’s post-nuclear world. Similar to other features on the upcoming game, the new C.A.M.P. tool was showcased by Todd Howard during Bethesda’s E3 2018 press conference.
Fallout veterans would be more familiar with the G.E.C.K., which is a device widely used in the Fallout universe for its terraforming ability that can transform a wasteland, into a life-supporting environment in a short span of time. However, in the upcoming Fallout 76, players will be using a new device called the C.A.M.P. to set up their settlements in the game’s post-apocalyptic environment.
The C.A.M.P. will serve as an emergency quick start device that provides “shelter, supplies, and safety” as opposed to changing the environment altogether. It will give players the ability to erect trading outposts and trade supplies with other players. The trailer above showed a base-building that is similar to those in Fallout 4. The short preview also showcased some of the creatures that will make an appearance in the game such as the Scorchbeast.
Fallout 76 is slated for a release on November 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
