Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has officially been revealed. Infinity Ward dropped the announcement trailer today at 10:00 am PST on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel. All of the footage in the trailer was taken in the game and man does it look gorgeous! You can watch the announcement trailer below.

Prepare to go dark, Modern Warfare® is back! The stakes have never been higher as players take on the role of lethal Tier One operators in a heart-racing saga that will affect the global balance of power.

The game is a re-imagining of the fan-favorite series from the ground up, so maybe we’ll get to see the return of some iconic characters that are no longer with us. The game will also feature the return of the series staple, Spec-Ops mode. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is slated for an October 25 release date. Will you be buying this installment of Call of Duty?
