Check Out The Details Of The First DLC For ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS, To Be Released On January 23
Ubisoft recently announced that they will be releasing the first DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The new expansion called, The Hidden Ones, that takes place four years after the events of Origins, will be story driven and will focus on the growth of the Brotherhood and their clash with a Roman force, set to occupy a new region of the world, Sinai.
The DLC will also increase the level cap to 45 to allow players to further upgrade and customize their character. Players will also be able to access four new Legendary weapons, multiple new weapons, a new outfit, and two new mounts. Crafted gears will also be expanded with two new levels. The Hidden Ones will be available to season pass owners and can also be purchased separately on January 23, 2018.
Together with the announcement of The Hidden Ones, Ubisoft also revealed the release dates for all post-launch content, that will include free add-ons, and a season pass to all players. Several hours of new storyline will also be included when players continue their adventure through Ancient Egypt in a new mode called Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt. It will introduce several quests, timed events, and customization items and will let players, and history buffs alike, to experience the daily life in Ancient Egypt, and learn more about its history through guided tours curated by historians. The Discovery Tour will be available for free for all owners of the game, and can also be purchased separately on Uplay and Steam on February 20, 2018.
Lastly, Ubisoft also teased on a second DLC for the game called, The Curse of the Pharaohs, this new expansion will be released on March 6, 2018 and will include a new storyline as players explore the land of Thebes, investigating “an ancient curse that is plaguing the region.” This DLC will focus on Egyptian mythology and the mysterious curse that is bringing dead pharaohs back to life.
