Check Out The Free Demo For An MGS And Splinter Cell Inspired Stealth Game NO SUN TO WORSHIP

Indie Developer Merlino Games is bringing us back to the PS1 era of awesome stealth titles with their third-person action stealth game, No Sun To Worship. Clearly taking cues from the likes of legendary titles such as Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell, this indie title looks to have a much darker tone but maintains the essence of the stealth genre. Check out the Steam page summary of the game below.

“The world was already gone when They arrived. Their ships hovered above us, motionless. Quiet. They judged us in silence as we picked up the pieces of our past. The greatest war was nothing compared to the serene horrors that ended it. We painted the sky ashen gray. Burned the heavens to starve each other.

What broke in man, that we decided to kill ourselves to punish our equals?

It is all meaningless anyway.

Now we walk an endless cemetery of regret. Now we look up for forgiveness. But They don't care. They only care that we failed…”

As you can see, the summary foreshadows a very dark tone compared to the espionage titles we are accustomed to. Nonetheless, stealth fans should definitely give the title a chance by downloading the free demo here. Players can hide behind walls, peek around corners, hold up guards at gunpoint, and stealthily assassinate targets in a dreary underground lab of some sorts. We are very intrigued by the premise but hope to see more of the game soon.

No Sun To Worship is in active development for PC via Steam.
