Check Out The Non-Profit Organization Working To Make TTRPG More Accessible
One thing that is always great to see is a group of dedicated, passionate people working on a cause that will simply better a community. In this case, the non-profit organization known as the DOTS RPG Project is working on their goal to empower blind and visually impaired individuals, as well as those with other disabilities, to run, play, and experience the magic of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) with complete independence!
They have already done some great work such as creating a 7-piece dice set that is made up of Braille numbers so those who are visually impaired can use them. In fact, if you have access to a 3D printer, you can print your own dice at home! They offer free downloads of their dice models so you can get a set in your hands quicker, or print and donate to someone in need.
If the concept of bringing amazing tabletop games like Pathfinder or Dungeons and Dragons to a more accessible format so even more players can enjoy the game independently is something you’d support, there are even a few ways to do so! If you shop on Amazon then you can select the DOTS RPG Project as your Amazon Smile charity, they have a Patreon page, you can Donate directly, or simply browse their gear shop and buy your next set of dice and other gaming gear from them.
