Check Out The Official Teaser For LIFE IS STRANGE 2
The newly released preview for Life Is Strange 2 showed that the upcoming game would be a vast departure from its predecessor. The trailer was short, only running for about a minute, but it was more than enough to show how the game sports a darker and much creepier vibe.
The trailer is seen in the perspective of a police officer’s dash cam and takes place in the fictional town of Beaver Creek, which may or may not be the final setting of the game. The video starts in silence, and then the police car pulled over to the side as the driver declares, “I’ve got a 10-10 in progress.”
A “10-10” is police jargon that refers to a fight, which is heard from a distance as the officer tries to stop it off-camera. Of course, the fight turns out to be more than your typical brawl as the police officer was unable to break it off and was then flung across the street with his entire car rolling over.
It’s hard to say whether the officer survived the encounter. However, developer Dontnod Entertainment and publisher Square Enix promised that “all will be revealed August 20th, 2018.” The first out of five episodes for Life is Strange 2 is scheduled to release on September 27 for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
