The PS4 Pro Bundle For MONSTER HUNTER WORLD Is Coming To The West

Good news to all Monster Hunter fans in the US as Sony just announced that they will be releasing a special-edition version of the PS4 Pro that will be bundled with the upcoming Monster Hunter World, which will also be available in Canada and Europe.

This new PS4 Pro, called the Rathalos edition, will feature a Monster Hunter World theme, that showcases a greyed out version of the game’s enemy, Rathalos, and will also include a gold logo of the game. The front of the system is filled with gold symbols that will hold special significance in the game. Furthermore, the limited edition DualShock 4 wireless controller, will be sporting a darker shade of maroon designed with black and gold elements to complement the PS4 Pro’s design. Check out the images of the bundle below:

The Monster Hunter themed PS4 Pro, will be bundled with a physical copy of the game and some digital content that includes an awesome PS4 theme and two bonuses in-game, the Origin armor set, and Fair Wind charm. The bundle will be available at the launch of the game for $450, which is slightly cheaper if you get a regular PS4 Pro and a copy of Monster Hunter World. You should note that the game features better graphical and performance enhancements when played on a PS4 Pro, so if you’re thinking of upgrading your system in time to play Monster Hunter World, then getting the bundle would be the sensible choice.

However, if you’re planning to purchase the bundle in the US, know that it can only be bought in GameStop as it is exclusive to the retailer. Sony also mentioned via the PlayStation Blog that quantities will be “very limited” so preorder early if you plan to get the special PS4 Pro bundle on January 26, when Monster Hunter World hits the shelves.

As the game is only a few days away from release, be sure to check out the final beta for Monster Hunter World to give you a glimpse of what the full game will be like. Monster Hunter World will be available on January 26 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a PC version of the game will follow later this year.
