Cooperative Mountain Climbing Game BREAD & FRED Gets Online Multiplayer
Recently, indie developers Sand Castle Studio and publisher Apogee Entertainment released their entertaining yet frustrating cooperative multiplayer game Bread & Fred. With the simplistic goal of climbing the mount through challenging gameplay that can be experienced solo or with a friend, this was a game that has been getting quite a positive reception from players. However, even in my own review of the game, the clearest downside for the game is the lack of online multiplayer - or should I say, was the lack of it.
Now, with update 1.1 sent out for the game, friends can team up and reach new heights with the inclusion of online multiplayer! After beating the game by myself in solo-play and only playing the multiplayer function through Steam’s Share Play, this is a big leg up on the experience this game has to offer. The main downside of this title has been fixed. Get ready to jump, cling, and swing across icy peaks and valleys in perfect harmony, and claim a spot in the Bread & Fred Hall of Fame with speedrun mode updates such as suspended play options and quick-restart settings.
Bread & Fred version 1.1 is available now on Mac and PC for Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
