CRASH BANDICOOT REMASTERED for the Switch, PC and Xbox One Will Release Earlier than Expected

Developer Activision just announced today that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be released sooner than expected for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One. Initially, the remaster was supposed to launch on July 10. However, Activision just revealed that the new release would be on June 29.

Crash Bandicoot has been working hard to look good for his debut on new platforms, Activision announced via their official blog. “The fan reaction to the news that he’s coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam was the extra push needed, and now he’s ready nearly two weeks early.”

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is already available for the PS4 when it was released last year. The trilogy includes the remastered version of the first three Crash Bandicoot games from the PlayStation 1 era. The PS4 version of the remaster was received well back in 2017, and Activision even revealed that the game was the top-selling remaster collection on the PlayStation 4 of all time.

In our first impression of the game, we were impressed with the level of detail that was put into the development of N. Sane Trilogy that sets the bar for remastered titles.

“Whether you’re a nostalgic-hungry OG looking to re-play these classic titles on your PS4 or a young whipper snapper that hasn’t had the chance to experience the series, the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is a worthy pick-up. It sets the bar for remastered titles, sticking to the original formula and added just a few modern features to enhance the experience.”
