CRYSIS REMASTERED TRILOGY Has An Official Launch Date!
The long-awaited Crysis Remastered Trilogy has an official release date set for October 15th! The news came directly from Crytek (the game’s publisher/developer) just yesterday and the hype has been rolling strong since then. This release date is for both physical and digital versions of the trilogy that are set to release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles as well as PC.
Nintendo Switch on the other hand will have separate releases for the remasters of each individual title in the trilogy. Each game comes with an exclusive box art card as well as a chance to win something pretty cool. Twenty art cards will be randomly inserted into day one orders for each format and are numbered and autographed by members of the development team.
This new remastered trilogy brings the single-player campaigns from the acclaimed series to current/next-gen hardware with enhanced gameplay and visuals. On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the Crysis remasters play between 1080p and 4K at up to 60 FPS. Lighting, textures, and just about everything else have been improved to bring this series to life in an all-new way.
"We're delighted to bring fans of the Crysis franchise the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, our new all-in-one bundle which will accompany the separate release of the remasters of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3," said Steffen Halbig, Project Lead. "Players can look forward to reliving the adventure with stunning graphics, smooth frame rates, and high-quality textures on whichever platform they choose, with lightning-fast 60 FPS gameplay available on PC and next-gen consoles, alongside a host of other graphical optimizations. We’d encourage all players to check out the comparison trailers to see the differences themselves."
Crysis Remastered Trilogy will launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 15 with Nintendo Switch releases TBA.
