DC Universe Online first appeared on PC and PS3 all the way back in 2011 and eventually saw release on PS4 and Xbox One as well. Now the MMO experience is set to go portable this summer with a Nintendo Switch port! DC Universe Online will be playable in both docked and handheld configurations for the Switch. With this being an MMO it will require a constant internet connection so handheld mode will be restricted to areas with Wi-Fi.

For anyone who has never played DC Universe Online, Lex Luthor travels back in time from a doomed future and sets off a device to create an unknowable amount of heroes. The goal behind this move is to change the outcome of what is to come and save the world from destruction. Players are able to customize their characters in numerous ways and then fight alongside various heroes and villains from the DC universe! Check out the Switch teaser below!
