DIABLO II: RESURRECTED Release Date and Multiplayer Beta Announced
Happy in Hades
After an absolutely fantastic single player alpha earlier this year, Blizzard has announced that Diablo II: Resurrected is launching September 23rd! To say that we here at GameTyrant are stoked might be the understatement of the year. Personally, when one of your favorite games of all times gets remastered, I became very cautiously optimistic. After playing the alpha, I was 100% convinced Resurrected is the near perfect balance of old and new. It looks, feels, and plays just like Diablo: LoD but in glorious 4K, ultrawide or whatever you prefer.
Not only did Blizzard drop that glorious bit of news, there is also a multiplayer open beta coming in August! Five of the seven classes will be live in that beta, with the Necromancer and Assassin players having to wait until the full launch in September.
Between the equally impressive Diablo Immortal alpha I’ve been tinkering with and now a release date for DII: R, Blizzard is knocking it out of the park with not only quality titles but a ton of content for Diablo fans to consume in the coming years. As a fan who had once lost hope, the future looks bright for The Dark..
