DIABLO IV Beta Early Access Gameplay Revealed
Blizzard is gearing up for Diablo IV’s early-access open beta by showing off some fresh gameplay footage to drool over. Although the open beta will be available to all, this early access is exclusive to those who pre-order the game, allowing players to try the game one week before the rest of the world. The early access beta runs from March 17th to March 19th and will give players a chance to try out the highly anticipated ARPG before anyone else.
Diablo IV takes place several years after the events of Diablo III and will center around Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto and the whispered progenitor of humanity. Players will be able to play in 4 player co-op matches during their campaign runs and explore DIV’s open world, scouring every nook and cranny. Climbing mountains, riding horseback, and even rope shimmying are all present to further immerse players in this new take on the classic series.
DIV is also planning huge features for its end-game content, ensuring players will have plenty to do and more reasons to revisit their character on multiple runs. Dungeons are also being reworked to promote replayability and loot generation. All of this is making DIV sound like a treasure to be had, let’s just hope this beta gives enough freedom to the players to really get a grasp of how the title will play on launch.
Diablo IV is launching on June 6th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net.
