DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ Open Beta Starts This Week
Bandai Namco’s highly anticipated 3v3 fighter has been on our wishlist since e3 2017. We loved the chaotic and authentic feel the game portrays, it literally feels like you’re playing the anime. Don’t believe us? Well now you will be able to try it out for yourself! Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta starts Saturday January 13 at 12am PST for everyone who preordered the game. Everyone else will be able to download the beta on Sunday January 14 at 12am PST on either PS4 or XB1 (sorry PC gamers, no beta this time.) The beta will end on Tuesday January 16 at 12am PST so set your reminders now!
The game is featuring 24 fighters at launch including the recently announced Super characters; Hit, Beerus, and Goku Black. Bringing a great variety of characters across the Dragon Ball Z saga and implementing some from the Super saga as well, Dragon Ball FighterZ is shaping up to be a DBZ fans wet dream come true. If you haven’t already and you’re a Vegeta fan, check out this newly released trailer for Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta kicking Goku’s ass. Your welcome.
We gave some in depth insight when the closed beta released back in September, stating the game was incredibly entertaining but the online servers were a complete disaster. Launching matches were next to impossible. Having an open beta to stress test the servers is definitely one of the best things Arc System Works can do to prep for launch week. We have high hopes for the servers to be in a much more stable condition, but I guess we’ll find out for sure this weekend.
Are you as hyped as we are for the open beta? Are you power levels high enough for this epic weekend event!? Let us know in the comments!
