Square Enix has knocked it out of the park with the Final Fantasy VII Remake. The company announced on Twitter that, in just three days, over 3.5 million copies of the game had been shipped or digitally sold.

That’s an insane number for a game at launch, so congratulations to the remake that’s been in development for so long. The patience has paid off.

It makes a lot of sense why the people at Square Enix are smiling right now.
