With Summer Game Fest a day away, Sony has revealed details on the title in a blog post. We already learned about the games price yesterday through an early posting on the Australian Store, but now we have a lot more details related to the game.

According to PlayStation, these are the details players can look forward to when the game has its beta in July.

• Will feature 16 playable characters called freegunners

• 6 Game modes

• Post launch content will be free and regularly updated

• 12 maps on launch

• PS5 and PC crossplay support confirmed

This is pretty much what players have gotten with Helldivers 2 so far, so we have to hope that Sony and Firewalk Studios took a page from Arrowhead Games Studios if they want the game to be as successful.

In addition, if you pre-order the game you will get 5 codes for the beta to share with friends, so you can easily try it out with them to see if the game is to your liking before its August release.
