Fresh Terror Awaits Players In RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE VR
Having just celebrated its one-year anniversary this past month, Capcom’s latest entry in the long-running Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Village, is calling players back with a new virtual reality option for PlayStation VR2. The predecessor to the game, Resident Evil 7, introduced virtual reality to the series, which was followed up by a virtual reality release of Resident Evil 4.
The update was announced during today’s PlayStation State of Play event but was not given a release date — something that is true for the PlayStation VR2 headset as well. The new way to play the game is sure to strike fear in players’ hearts as they find themselves running from infamous characters such as Lady Dimitrescu and many other enemies that were already terrifying in the base game.
While there is no release date yet for the PlayStation VR2 version, Resident Evil Village is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia.
